The battle is on, each competitor bounces around searching for the weakness in the others defense, these battles occur a lot but today has special meaning, today is a snow day, today is the day that all dogs dream of, victory on a snowy battlefield.  Lansdowne Pa, Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010.  (Photo by James Sindaco)
A critical sequence, Laverne has decided to go low and aim for the limbs or belly while Shirley goes high, looking for the neck grab it is anybody's game at this point, in the back yard of a Lansdowne Pa. home, Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010.  (Photo by James Sindaco)
They have resorted to boxing, it seems they are beginning to lose steam as the battle progresses in Lansdowne Pa., Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010.  (Photo by James Sindaco
Laverne leans in with a bite as Shirley attempts to avoid this volley, the two have a real passion for this sort of thing and you can see it here in their performance today, Lansdowne Pa., Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010.

Beau Sindaco takes a bite from Shirley Sindaco's neck, the last blow of the Great Blizzard Battle of 2010 ( it is the last blow because I quickly broke the fight up, I deemed it to rough to continue), Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, in the backyard of 59 E. Stewart Ave., Lansdowne Pa.  (Photo by James Sindaco)
